Ellen Carney, Senior GIS Analyst UMass Boston GIS Core Research Facility.
Ms. Carney is working on a MPH from Boston University School of Public Health. She has B.A. in Biology and Philosophy from Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, IL. She has worked for Compass Informatics in Dublin Ireland, the City and County of San Francisco, CA. and the San Francisco Estuary Institute in Oakland CA. Prior to that she worked for Signal Corp for the EPA Region 1 in Boston MA. She was an environmental Analyst for the MWCOG in Washington DC. Prior to that she worked for Indus Corporation in Vienna VA as a GIS Analyst. She began her career with the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority. She has certificates from ESRI for ArcSDE administration and ArcIMS.
